  We utilise E-Coat (Electrophoretic Coating) to provide the very highest corrosion protection available for steel automotive parts. Deposited from a water-based solution using a high voltage DC charge, the process coats all wet surfaces with an extremely tough and highly corrosion resistant finish that is unlike any other process. This industry-leading process (often only offered by OEMs) ensures full-coverage in hard to reach areas that are often missed by other coating processes. On top of the electrophoretic coating, we apply 80µm of an extremely durable and UV stable powder coat (advanced polyester thermosetting powder). This 2 layer approach ensures maximum corrosion protection for all steel parts.

  There aren’t many off-road companies who own a WK2 as their daily driver, or regularly take it all over Australia in search of off-road adventures. In our opinion, that extra testing and passionate attention to performance leads to superior products.

Wedge-Lock washers to create bolted joints that are extremely resistant to loosening. Anti-Seize for bolted joints that are resistant to seizing. Chief Products ROOF RACK (Half-Planks) are a key component of our Modular Roof Rack System. Our unique modular approach, provides customers with the ability to bolt Planks and Half-Planks to their Mounting Rails in numerous positions and combinations. Customers can build the roof rack they want, and easily reconfigure it (add-remove-reposition components) whenever their needs change. Best of all, each Half-Plank provides a channel for captive T-Nuts. This feature allows you to easily bolt accessories to the Half-Plank at any point along the entire length.

We provide (2) Half-Planks; each measuring 1146mm (45.12") long, 77mm (3.03") wide and an amazing 25mm (0.98") thin. We utilise a proprietary Aircraft-Grade Aluminium Alloy and an advanced Extrusion Manufacturing Process that allows us to deliver Half-Planks with an extremely high strength-to-weight ratio.

Chief Products WK2 ROOF RACK (Aero) delivers enhanced styling and aerodynamic performance. Engineered to reduce wind noise by restricting the amount of high-velocity air flowing through the confined space underneath your roof rack (diverting high-velocity air up and over your roof rack).

Ideal for customers wanting optimum aerodynamic performance in high-wind conditions, cross-wind conditions, or regular high-speed driving. WK2 ROOF RACK (Aero) can be used as a replacement for the ROOF RACK (Stealth Air Dam) or in combination.

* ROOF RACK (Stealth Air Dam) provides excellent performance for most customers and is included with every set of Chief Products Mounting Rails.

Chief Products ROOF RACK (Half-Plank End-Caps) provide a nice finish to the ends of our Half-Planks. Engineered to provide improved aerodynamics, reduced wind noise, and protection from debris entering the ends of your Half-Planks. Perfect for customers not installing a ROOF RACK (Platform Frame). We provide (4) Half-Plank End-Caps; enough for (2) Half-Planks. They bolt on easily and feature (7) slots.

Chief Products WK2 ROOF RACK (Mounting Rails) act as the framework for our Modular Roof Rack System. Our unique modular approach, enables customers to build the roof rack they want, and easily reconfigure it whenever their needs change. Customers can have one configuration for around town (surfing-kayaking-mountain biking). Then easily change to another configuration for camping-expedition-overlanding (maximum gear, roof top tent, etc.). Customers get one roof rack, that can easily adapt to their needs.

Engineering our Mounting Rails as a key roof rack component, provides another important advantage; industry-leading load ratings (150kg dynamic & 600kg static). Our unique engineering approach, utilises a boxed design that resists deformation at any singular point, which helps transfer forces to the strongest points on the vehicle roof. Chief Products ROOF RACK (Adjustable Load Rails) are engineered to be multi-functional; acting as a border, divider, grab handle or high-strength way to secure gear. Using our T-Nuts, they can be easily mounted anywhere on your roof rack. Sideways, crossways, or bridging across multiple Planks. We provide (3) different sizes, so you can combine multiple Load Rails to create the exact configuration you need. Want to change your configuration? Loosen the t-nuts, slide the Load Rails into a new position, and retighten. It's that simple!

We've utilised the latest manufacturing techniques and Aircraft-Grade Aluminium Alloys to deliver a product that is light, strong, highly-durable and accomplishes a degree of fit-and-finish you have to see in person to truly appreciate.
